Queen Elizabeth and Prince Charles teamed up today for a visit to Kennington, where they were guests at The Prince’s Trust Centre to mark the charity’s 40th anniversary this year.

Here, the two royals met with a number of young people who have benefitted from the Trust’s work in helping them find employment or assisting with their education. Also present for the event were two of the Trust’s ambassadors, actors Damian Lewis and Helen McCory.

The Queen was ever her easily-spotted self, today wearing a bright blue outfit paired with a matching hat with feather detailing and the sapphire and diamond brooch given to Queen Victoria by her husband Prince Albert as a wedding gift. Prince Charles meanwhile was also up to his usual standards, in a blue double-breasted suit.
