She chose a chic Claes Iversen coat-style dress in a bone for her first engagements, which has panelled detailing, lace and beading elements. The Queen paired the dress – though unconventional and busy in its design, yet so very Máxima – with tan pumps, gloves, clutch and a pair of drop earrings.
A Fabienne Delvigne straw hat with her signature up-turned brim completed the look.
